Program objectives

PhD in Teaching and Technology Concentration in Music Education designed to develop the professional career who are knowledgeable and competent to manage and lead the instructional process with integration of the instructional delivery and technology; and to develop professional researchers who are competent to conduct innovative research systematically to guide the practice of teaching and technology in music education.

 

This program is suitable for educator who wish to has knowledge of and understands the principles of music and music education. Learning from this course you will have a solid understanding of the four major components of music education.

Qualifications for Admission

  • Earn a Master’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Show proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS scores) or take the English Admission Examination for Graduate Program conducted by the University

Application Procedure

  • Submit the required documents as required by the Program (to be notified)

  • Remit fees for interview and English Proficiency Test (in case of taking the English Admission Examination by the University)

Program Duration

A candidate may graduate with the minimum period of 3 years and may extend to a maximum of 5 academic years.
