Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has been selected as the host institution for the UNESCO International Workstation on Rural Creativity and Sustainable Development (Thailand). Announced at a major regional workshop at Peking University, the initiative brings together institutions from Asia and Europe to foster innovation at the intersection of digital technology, cultural heritage, and rural transformation.
The workstation will serve as a platform for joint research, scholar exchanges, and “Digital Intelligence + Culture” pilot projects, aligned with the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the growing regional need for inclusive and interdisciplinary approaches.
