AU Opens “Hall of Honor” to Celebrate Graduate Excellence

The Office of Graduate Studies at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly opened its new “Hall of Honor” at Assumption Hall, Hua Mak Campus. The opening ceremony was presided over by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU and marked a significant milestone in recognizing AU’s commitment to academic excellence, research, and internationalization at the graduate level.
The Hall of Honor was established to highlight the exceptional achievements of graduate students, alumni, and faculty across disciplines. It features a permanent exhibition showcasing outstanding research, innovations, and success stories of AU alumni who have gone on to lead in prominent organizations both in Thailand and globally.
Exhibits also include profiles of distinguished faculty, landmark research projects, a timeline of graduate studies development, and key international partnerships—ranging from double degree programs and joint research to faculty exchanges and study abroad initiatives.
As part of this initiative, AU also announced the establishment of a liaison office for the Thai-Chinese International College (TCIC) and the Confucius Institute (CI) at the same location. This new office will serve as a hub for academic collaboration, business services, and cultural exchange focused on Thai-Chinese language and education.
Graduate Studies at AU is guided by a vision to foster cross-disciplinary learning, support high-quality research, and develop global-ready graduates who are leaders of change. Programs are designed with flexibility, multilingual instruction, and international accreditation to meet the demands of the modern world.
