Workshop built professional character, confidence and modern business readiness
Workshop built professional character, confidence and modern business readiness

Assumption University’s Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management (GS-BATM) brought MBA students together for “MBA and Beyond” on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Salle d’ Expo, Hua Mak Campus.

Centered on the theme “Manners and Character of Businesspeople in the 21st Century,” the workshop looked beyond textbooks to examine the personal qualities that turn business knowledge into professional success.

Students explored the conduct, interpersonal skills and character expected of businesspeople in the 21st century. Talks, quizzes and interactive activities gave participants opportunities to test their knowledge, exchange ideas and strengthen their professional readiness.

The morning began with registration before moving into the main workshop. A working break and buffet lunch gave students additional time to connect with classmates and reflect on the session.

Participation in the workshop was required for students taking the oral comprehensive examination that afternoon, linking professional development with an important stage in their MBA journey.

“Even the name, ‘MBA and Beyond,’ says something important: earning the degree is an achievement, but how graduates carry themselves, communicate and lead will shape what comes next.”

By placing character alongside academic achievement, the workshop reflected GS-BATM’s commitment to preparing graduates with the knowledge, confidence and professional presence required in today’s business world.
