A new chapter of academic cooperation unfolded on October 14, 2025, as Peking University (PKU) welcomed a delegation from Assumption University of Thailand (AU) for a high-level meeting focused on advancing the Cultural Technology & Social Innovation Laboratory.
Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kitti Phothikitti, Vice President for Educational Innovation and the Graduate Studies, AU reaffirmed its commitment to fostering international collaboration that bridges education, technology, and culture.
The meeting celebrated the achievements since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between AU and PKU, highlighting key projects that have already enhanced cross-border cooperation between Thailand and China. Both institutions outlined new pathways to deepen research collaboration, strengthen student mobility, and develop joint innovation programs that will benefit communities in China, Thailand, and Southeast Asia.
“This partnership isn’t just about exchanging knowledge,” said Asst. Prof. Dr. Kitti. “It’s about shaping the future together, where cultural heritage meets technological innovation.”
This milestone reflects AU’s continued dedication to global partnerships and its mission to inspire innovative education while building meaningful people-to-people connections.
