Now open! When rice fields become canvases — and travel across borders to Bangkok for the very first time.
Violet buffaloes, rainbow-colored oxen, golden blossoms sweeping across the fields, and young women in intricately embroidered dresses playing the flute in spring. This is the world painted by the farmer-artists of Sanjiang, China — created by hand and by hearts deeply bound to the land.
Assumption University is proud to be the first host in the world to open its Art Museum to more than 100 works from the folk-art heritage of the Dong people — traveling outside China for the very first time in history.
“Symphony of the Four Seasons” walks you through four seasons like a symphony in four movements — each brushstroke a visual poem of life, nature and faith, and a bridge of friendship between Thailand and China.
