The Office of Graduate Studies and the Office of International Affairs at Assumption University of Thailand welcomed the incoming cohort of graduate students (Freshmen 681–XXXX) with an exciting orientation event held at Salle d’Expo, Hua Mak Campus.
The morning began with registration and a warm welcome from the MC, followed by opening remarks from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaninthorn Jittawiriyanukoon, Vice President for Research and Academic Services and Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management. His remarks focused on the importance of academic excellence, community contribution, and leadership development.
A vibrant ice-breaking activity, “Find My Friend,” helped students connect before transitioning into an informative session about the role and support offered by the Office of Graduate Studies.
Dr. Sirichai Preudhikulpredab, Director of MBA.HTM and Ph.D.HTM, led a workshop that provided practical tools for success in the hospitality and tourism industry, emphasizing the real-world relevance of AU’s graduate education.
Current students and alumni shared their personal experiences during a panel discussion, followed by an open Q&A. The event closed with a group photo, a networking lunch, and souvenir giveaways.
This event reinforced that pursuing graduate studies at AU is more than just earning a degree — it’s about forming a meaningful network, gaining lifelong skills, and growing with purpose.
